On April 1, Niklas Blonér will assume the role of CEO of GRAM Group, with the mission of strengthening the company’s hotels and restaurants as natural meeting places on Bjärehalvön – for both visitors and local residents alike.
Developing strong destinations and places has been a common thread throughout Niklas Blonér’s career. Most recently, he served as Area Marketing Manager for Nova in Lund, Väla in Helsingborg, and Läreda Retail Park in Hässleholm. In his new role, he sees significant opportunities to further develop the experiences offered by GRAM Group’s hotels and restaurants, with a focus on quality, hospitality, and memorable guest experiences.
– What attracts me most is the opportunity to create places where people truly want to be. When a guest leaves and immediately starts planning their next visit – that’s when you know you’ve succeeded. That is the feeling I want our hotels and restaurants to create, again and again, says Niklas Blonér, incoming CEO of GRAM Group.
Strengthening Bjärehalvön
An important part of his vision is to strengthen the connection to Bjärehalvön and create meeting places that feel just as natural for local residents as they do for long-distance visitors:
– I want our hotels and restaurants to be a natural gathering place for the people of Bjäre. A place where people come together over dinner, celebrate life’s major moments, or simply enjoy an evening with friends and family.
Niklas Blonér also highlights the importance of details and storytelling in creating memorable experiences.
– The best experiences are created through the details. Our hotels and restaurants already carry fantastic stories from previous generations. By highlighting that history and combining it with new ideas, we can create environments where every visit becomes part of something bigger – memories that guests want to return to and share with others.
Focus on development
In his new role, Niklas Blonér brings a strong drive to make things happen. He describes his leadership style as active, hands-on, and shaped by genuine care:
– Moving forward, I want GRAM Group to continue developing as warm, vibrant destinations where people feel genuinely welcome and where there is always something happening that suprises and inspires. My ambition is to create environments that engage and inspire people, and make both guests and employees want to stay for a long time.
