Winter bathing
Dive into winter – come and swim with us!
Here on the Bjäre Peninsula, we’re absolutely crazy about swimming – and we do it all year round!
Did you know that you can take a dip in as many as 16 different pools and baths at our three hotels in Båstad and Torekov?
From icy winter dips and refreshing sea swims to warm springs and bubbling pools – whether you prefer it cold or hot, you’ll find your perfect swim experience on the Bjäre Peninsula this winter.
Here’s a taste of what’s waiting for you!
HOTEL SKANSEN, BÅSTAD
COLD SEA BATHS & INVIGORATING SPA
At Hotel Skansen, Båstad’s iconic cold bathhouse is right outside the door. 60 meters out in the sea, warm saunas and refreshing sea dips await. The colder, the better, say those who know.
If you’d rather immerse yourself in 38-degree warmth while gazing out over the sea, visit the Rooftop. Or find peace and relaxation at the spa, where Japanese baths and a clover-shaped indoor pool await.
TOREKOV HOTELL
WARM BATHS & ICE-COLD DIPS, INDOORS AND OUTDOORS
At the cozy Torekov Hotell, you can enjoy both cold and warm baths, indoors and outdoors. We recommend you warm up in the sauna on the terrace first and then jump into the large pool, which is 10 degrees in winter. Alternate between heat and cold in warm pools outdoors and indoors, various types of saunas, and ice plunges.
HOTEL RIVIERA STRAND
Winter Swimming at Riviera
At Hotel Riviera Strand, you can enjoy the sauna and pool house. Sink into the stillness of our Japanese outdoor baths with a relaxing view of pine trees and the beach. The most daring guests take a stroll down to the shoreline in their bathrobes for an icy dip in the sea. An appreciated break in the day’s meeting schedule.
