Two hotels, one thousand beds and a destination of unlimited possibilities

Are you planning a conference or event with up to 1,000 participants? Our two hotels in Båstad – Hotel Skansen and Hotel Riviera Strand – offer space for big ideas and large groups.

The hotels are located two kilometers apart, at each end of Båstad’s fine sandy beach – just under a ten-minute bike ride, or the same short trip by car or bus.

In total, Hotel Skansen and Hotel Riviera Strand offer 1,000 beds and 35 conference rooms.

And that’s just the beginning. Add five restaurants, multiple terraces, lounges and outdoor dining areas, a rooftop spa with a cold bathhouse, a pool house, and a large outdoor pool with pergola, pool bar, and social spaces.

With extensive experience in hosting large events and conferences, we’re here to handle all the practical details – from booking transport, meals and entertainment to coordinating activities – ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.

– The New Galleria – Hotel Skansen’s newly designed event hall accommodates up to 600 guests. With state-of-the-art technology and a highly flexible layout, it’s ideal for exhibitions, conferences, and banquets.

– The Congress Hall – A penthouse venue at Hotel Skansen with panoramic sea views and space for 270 guests, perfect for lectures and presentations.

– 35 Meeting Rooms – Hotel Skansen offers 26 versatile rooms of various sizes, while Hotel Riviera Strand features 9 meeting spaces for 8–120 people and a banquet hall for up to 220 guests.

– Hotel Riviera Strand features 144 apartment-style suites in various sizes, with a total of 650 beds.

– Hotel Riviera Strand can transform its large restaurant into a fantastic meeting or event space – boasting stunning sea views. Fully equipped with the technology needed for your event, the space can accommodate up to 200 guests.

– Hotel Riviera Strand enjoys a peaceful beachfront location, just 2 km from Hotel Skansen.
– Easy motorway access from Gothenburg (2 hrs), Malmö (1 hr), Copenhagen (1.5 hrs) and Stockholm (6 hrs).
– Direct trains to Båstad Station from Gothenburg, Malmö and Copenhagen.
– The nearest airport is in Ängelholm (20 min), with international flights arriving at Copenhagen Airport (1.5 hrs).
