A first visit to Galleri Arnstedt is often a lively and surprising experience. Who would have thought you’d find an art gallery like this out in the countryside?

In the small village of Östra Karup, near the E6 exit toward Båstad, a 400-year-old mill building has been transformed into an art gallery. And not just any gallery – it’s an exciting art hall with several exhibition rooms showcasing both established and emerging artists. The gallery has had a close collaboration with Malmö Art Academy for many years – and it shouldn’t surprise you if this is where you first saw some of today’s major names.

Around the gallery, a sculpture garden spreads out, with a winding stream running through the lush landscape. Visitors can stroll through the garden and discover around twenty sculptures in various materials and sizes. Each year, new works are added, taking their place in the harmonious environment alongside sculptures that have been part of the garden for many years.
